For years my exclusive One-of-a-Kind necklaces have been a big hit at the many Gala / Fundraisers that we participated in. Some clients buy 2 or 3 at a time, because of the artistry, distinction, quality, and fair price. The jewelry is so chic that many can’t wait to put on and show off their purchase right there at the Gala.

I had been asked many times to create a website, so they could shop online year round for a necklace that complements their wardrobe and makes a statement. As a result, GoldenDoorCollection.com was born to Make Someone Happy All Year Long.

Designing a necklace is a Labor of Love. I love finding exotic beads and gemstones from the four corners of the world, but creating a unique necklace with the right combination of gemstones, pearls, beads and clasps takes a great eye and lots of patience. Size, color, texture, feel and style are all factors in the creative process, but it's not the most important.

Perhaps it is my European background or my perfectionism, but in the end, if the necklace doesn’t talk to me, I take it apart and start on something else. Only those necklaces that talk to me – that have that perfect harmonious combination of look, feel, style and vibration – and says to me ‘WOW’ are accepted.
